October 6 COVID-19 Testing Webinar

October 5, 2020

Dear Rural Health Clinic Administrators and Managers,

On October 6, 2020, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, HRSA is sponsoring a webinar in conjunction with the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC), on the RHC COVID-19 Testing Program Reporting Process and Requirements. HRSA has funded the National Association of Rural Health Clinics to provide technical assistance to RHCs on the RHC COVID-19 Testing Program. To register for the Rural Health Clinic Technical Assistance webinar on the RHC COVID-19 Testing Program Reporting Process and Requirement, go to https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/831949181693245708. A copy of the slides and a recording will be available within a few days after the webinar at https://www.narhc.org/narhc/TA_Webinars1.asp

NARHC and HRSA will provide early access to the RHC COVID-19 Testing Report in the coming days for funded organizations who would like to start entering their data in advance of the monthly reporting requirement. This brief set of proposed measures that funded RHCs report back to HRSA at the Tax Identification Number (TIN) level includes basic information on the RHC organization, the number of and location of testing sites (active and inactive), information on the use of funds, the total number of tests conducted, and the number of COVID-19 positive tests.

HRSA proposes to use this information to evaluate the effectiveness of the program at an aggregate level. As proposed, funded organizations will report the number of tests conducted and the number of positive tests on a monthly basis for the duration of the reporting period retroactively to May 2020. The report does not include any personally identifiable, patient-level information. HRSA will notify RHCs when the reporting is required and no longer optional. We anticipate required monthly reporting will begin prior to the end of the 2020 calendar year but no earlier than November 1, 2020. If you have additional questions you may email RHCcovidreporting@narhc.org
